Opis kursu

MOOC ART educational course - "Digital art. Exlibris personalized art" at the basic level is aimed at: students of arts and related fields (or art theory) and anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of digital art and bookplate. The course includes: 2 modules (10 lessons) to be delivered at your own pace. The course includes short films, presentations and rich illustrative material.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

the participant has general knowledge of visual arts, can make an independent analysis of text and graphic materials, can use various sources of obtaining information, it is recommended to have a computer or a tablet to participate in the course


COURSE OBJECTIVES

Course objectives in terms of knowledge, skills and competences:

1. Acquisition of basic competences in the field of visual communication,

2. Obtaining the most important news in the field of digital art and bookplate art,

3. Gaining useful information about graphic tools,

4. Developing technical and IT knowledge,

5. Supplementing skills in the field of digital art and bookplate work,

6. Getting acquainted with examples of digital art and bookplate art,

7. Expanding knowledge in the field of art, with particular emphasis on graphics,

8. Getting acquainted with the classification of digital art; developing cultural competences;

TERMS OF EVALUATION

In order to pass the course, it is necessary to get acquainted with the content of the course (presentations) and correctly complete the tests and final exercises.


CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING A CERTIFICATE

To receive a certificate, you must complete the course with a positive result (50% correct answers)


COURSE STAFF

dr hab. Krzysztof Marek Bąk, prof. UŚ

He is the author of over 1700 bookplates and small graphic forms implemented in digital techniques. He has completed 95 individual exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Portugal, Great Britain, Denmark, Bulgaria, Finland, the USA, Japan and Kuwait. He took part in numerous group presentations and competitions, receiving over 35 awards and distinctions. Artistic director of the International Exlibris Competition in Gliwice. Member of the Deutsche Exlibris-Gesellschaft.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. He is a habilitated doctor of arts. He is professionally associated with the University of Silesia, where he is the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences. At the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Silesia, he runs the Modern Bookplate Research Studio. He has published five crime novels, including a four-volume series on investigations by Commissioner Orłowska. He lives in Bielsko-Biała.

mgr Marta Frąckowiak

She is a professionally active graphic artist, illustrator, artist and teacher. She mainly deals with digital graphics. Additionally, she actively participates in cultural life, conducts workshops, and takes part in numerous exhibitions and festivals. She is the initiator and originator of the International Graphic Triennial in Cieszyn - "In Search of the Impossible" and the International Competition for small graphic forms "Fairy Tales of Robots".

She received: Honorable Mention of His Magnificence Rector of the University of Silesia for artistic and cultural activity.

She participated in over 90 exhibitions, incl. in Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Egypt, Mexico, the Netherlands, Argentina and South Korea.
