The knowledge contained in the course can be used to broaden your orientation in relation to contemporary socio-political processes and is necessary to study more advanced issues in the field of contemporary political systems.
Interest in the subject of the course and knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2.
The first module presents issues related to the historical and theoretical approach to democracy.
The second module presents the value systems of democratic governments.
In the third module various democratic political systems were presented.
The fourth module presents issues related to the socio-economic environment of modern democracy.
The fifth module presents the challenges of the modern world faced by democracy today.
The sixth module presents the threats faced by modern democracy.
To pass the course, it is necessary to provide a minimum of 60%. The score is calculated on the basis of a weighted average. The control exercises have a weighting of 40% and the final exam has a weighting of 60%.
To receive a certificate, you must complete and pass the course.
