Logistics based on selected modules of the SAP ERP system

The course was created as part of an implementation project co-financed by European Funds (Knowledge – Education – Development program) “Competences of students of the War Studies Academy – development and implementation of educational e-learning courses!" (POWR.03.01.00-00-W018-04)
The course is designed for undergraduate and graduate students. It is an additional element of the education process. As a result of the e-learning process, the participant will acquire IT competences to use one of the best tools, a world-class integrated IT system of ERP class, which is increasingly used in Polish and European enterprises. Through a system of specially prepared teaching modules, tests and exercises, the participant will obtain theoretical and practical preparation for work in enterprises that have implemented or intend to implement ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems from SAP or another company.
The participant will also acquire analytical competences, including the ability to solve logistic problems related to material movement in the analysed IT logistics chains. And also competences in the field of own entrepreneurship, because the acquired knowledge and skills in managing logistics processes with the use of integrated ERP-class IT systems can be successfully used in own established company.
The main objective of the course is for the course participants to obtain the required and significant from the point of view of the needs of the labour market, economy and society additional competences and logistic qualifications in the IT industry in the use of dedicated logistics modules of the SAP ERP system. We assume that by providing basic knowledge and skills in the field of integrated IT systems, based on a well-known and recognizable product such as SAP ERP, we will achieve the end result consisting in increasing the attractiveness of our graduates to potential employers on the labour market, including in the fields of: logistics, management and command, aviation, national security and internal security.

There are no prerequisites for students who are doing the first or second degree in logistics.
On the other hand, for students in other fields of study, the entry requirements refer to their competences, which facilitate the implementation of this course, namely:
Before starting the course, you must have access to the SAP ERP program. Students of the War Studies Academy will receive it from the teacher.
There are two types of student activity that are assessed in the course:
The tests consist of 4 closed multiple-choice questions, the answers to which can be found in the presented lessons.
The entire course ends with a final test of knowledge in the field of lesson topics covered throughout the course.
In order to pass the course, it is necessary to achieve a threshold of over 60% of all possible points. Those who achieve a score of at least 61% if all tests will receive a course completion certificate.

A graduate of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw and postgraduate studies (pedagogy) at the National Defense University. He completed doctoral studies at the National Defense University in Warsaw. He has many years of experience and teaching achievements resulting from teaching at the National Defense University, the University of Information Technology, Management and Administration and the War Studies Academy. He conducted classes in the fields of logistics, national security as well as management and production engineering at first cycle (undergraduate and engineering) and second cycle studies as well as post-graduate studies. His scientific interests include logistics issues related to the areas of IT support for logistics through the use of integrated IT systems of ERP class.
