The importance of career development is changing, which is caused by changes that are constantly taking place not only in labor markets, but also in entire societies. You can talk about economic, cultural, social and mental changes that affect understanding, shaping and building a broadly understood professional career.
Career development is something many of us care about, but we don't always know how to do it? That is why we have created this course.


Target group:

The course is especially addressed to people who plan to enter the career path or make a change in their professional life.

Course assumptions:

Duration: 15h (5 weeks x 3h)

The form of the course: the course is available in full from the moment the participant enrolls. The trainee adjusts the pace of the course to his individual needs.

Work method - the individual pace of the student


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • operation of the computer and peripheral devices,
  • navigating in application programs,
  • using a web browser,
  • working with information from traditional and online sources,
  • work with the Navoica educational platform.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Provide knowledge on various aspects related to career planning and implementation. It is important that career development is a series of conscious activities undertaken by a given person based on the knowledge of their own competences, skills, needs and ambitions, so that it constitutes the implementation of specific and precisely defined goals throughout the entire professional life.


SUBJECT MATTERS

MODULE 1. Professional career - introduction

In the first module you will gain knowledge about dimensions, models and stages of career planning.

MODULE 2. Diagnosis of predispositions and preferences

In the second module, you will perform a test to diagnose your personality type and determine its characteristics. You will also designate the areas in which you would move best in your professional life.

MODULE 3. Application documents and interview

In the third module, you will prepare the necessary application documents and learn how to smoothly and successfully complete an interview.

MODULE 4. Selection - Assessment Center

In the fourth module you will realize how important competences are and what are the exercises that reflect real or unusual situations.

MODULE 5. Summary

In module five, you will perform a final test.


CREDIT CONDITIONS

Reading the content of all modules and completing all the tasks included in the course will help you successfully achieve the goals of the course. The conditions for completing the course and receiving the certificate of completion of the course are: obtaining 51% of the completion of all test tasks (tests after the completion of selected lessons), completion of the homework and final test.

There are 4 types of tasks in the course:

  1. Partial test after module one, consolidating and checking knowledge;
  2. Homework in the third module (CV preparation);
  3. Partial test after the fourth module, consolidating and checking knowledge;
  4. Final test (contains 10 single-choice questions, for each correct answer you will get 1 point, which gives a total of 10 points).

CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION OF THE COURSE

To receive a certificate of completion of the course, you must obtain min. 51% of the points for consolidation tests and 51% of points for the final test.
