COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course consists of 10 thematic modules, which realized by the participant, will increase its competence, both in theoretical and practical terms, which will enable the application of the studied tools in practice.

1. The first module is devoted to the subject of data analysis and its role in the decision-making process. The implementation of this module will enable the participant to understand the importance of data analysis and its application in decision making.
2. The second module will present the Solver add-on which is an optimization tool. The implementation of this module will allow the course participant to acquire competence in applying an IT tool to solve optimization problems.
3. The third module is devoted to pivot tables, as a result of its implementation, the course participant will be able to create a pivot table and create a report based on it.
4. In the next, fourth module, the course participant will become familiar with pivot charts and pivot maps. Using them, the course participant will be able to visualise the data.
5. In the fifth module, selected statistical functions offered by Excel will be presented and cases of application of the discussed functions will be presented.
6. The sixth module is devoted to the additional Analysis Toolpack and the tools it offers - selected functions and descriptive statistics.
7. The seventh module contains a description of the Power Query, its selected functions and application.
8. The eighth module will present the essence of data clustering - clustering parameters and its interpretation.
9. The ninth module is devoted to data classification.
10. The tenth module introduces basket analysis.

Each module consists of a theoretical part which is an introduction to the discussed issue, a part concerning examples of practical application of the presented tools, checking questions and a task to be solved by the course participant.

CONDITIONS TO COMPLETE THE COURSE

To complete the course, the Participant should obtain a minimum of 75% of correct answers from questions summarizing the theoretical part and complete a minimum of 7 Challenges.
