Opis kursu

Thanks to the course, you can learn and expand your knowledge and practical skills on modern tools for the development of various types of infographics, knowledge maps, presentations, video, digital storytelling. You can learn the principles of effective use of gamification in education, the methods of flipped classroom, e-communication and e-collaboration, online tutoring.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

In order to proceed with the course, the following is recommended:

  • a basic computer and peripheral device skills (for example, a scanner, camera, microphone),
  • basic skills in using application programs (e.g. Libre Office, MS Office),
  • basic habits in using a web browser (for example, Mozilla Firefox),
  • basic skills of working with information from traditional sources (e.g. books, magazines) and internet sources (e.g. repositories, digital libraries),
  • communication skills at the basic level (A2) in English,
  • competences to take individual and team actions to raise the quality level of the education and self-education process.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • The course participant will learn about modern ICT tools and innovative methods of creative education.
  • They will increase their knowledge, skills and competences in the field of psychological and pedagogical-methodological aspects of using selected ICT tools in education.
  • Increase your skills and competences in dealing with the design of an ICT-based educational process.
  • They will increase their skills and competences in the field of practical aspects of applying modern ICT tools and active methods in education.
  • The course participant will learn good examples of designing the educational process with the use of selected ICT tools and innovative methods.

SUBJECT ISSUES

MODULE 1

In the first module the participant will learn what infographics and mind maps are and what they are for. He will learn the theoretical and methodological foundations and the principles of creating the above-mentioned methods of developing information and supporting learning. He will have the opportunity to see a comparison of the tools used to create infographics and mind maps, taking into account their advantages and limitations.

MODULE 2

In the second module the participant will learn how to design a professional multimedia presentation. He will learn what are the types of presentations and what are the stages of its creation. He will also learn about the computer programs used to create the presentation, as well as how to make it available on the web.

MODULE 3

In the third module the participant will learn what an educational video is and when this tool is most often used and become familiar with the types / classification of the didactic videos. They will also learn the principles and methodology of developing a professional didactic video, and what programs to use to implement them. Examples of the practical use of didactic video in education will illustrate the content assimilated during the module. The participant will also learn what competences are required to be a creator of professional didactic films.

MODULE 4

The participant of the fourth module will learn what a digital story is and what it is for. He will become familiar with the different types of this tool and the principles of development, and what programs he can use for this purpose. The information presented will be illustrated with selected examples of completed digital story projects. The module participant will also learn what competences a person creating a digital story should have.

MODULE 5

In the fifth module you will learn what gamification is, consider theoretical and methodical aspects of developing and using games in education (gamification) and learn about the structure, game concepts, stages of game development, software for game development, websites on the topic in question, classification / types of games, required competences.

MODULE 6

In the sixth module, selected innovative active teaching-learning methods are presented, which are important at various educational levels, in particular in shaping IT competences of a student of pedagogical faculty at a university. Innovative, active teaching-learning methods should be used, including: problem-based learning (problem-based learning), teaching-project-based learning. learning, teaching - Inquired-based learning, Flipped classroom, Teaching - Adaptive-learning. In addition, the basic psychological and pedagogical aspects of the educational process supported by ICT and e-learning will be presented, including theories of constructivism, connectivism, scientific aspects of the implementation of the current and immediate development zone, psychology of limitations and others.

MODULE 7

Module seven discusses ICT tools for e-communication and e-collaboration. In addition, there have been analyzed important skills and cooperation in the 21st century and criteria for effective cooperation, methodological and practical aspects of using ICT tools for e-collaboration and e-communication.
Examples of tasks related to organizing student cooperation are given.

MODULE 8

The objectives of Module 8 include: the basics of online tutoring; the most important information on the psychological specificity of online communication as part of online tutoring; analysis of various online tutoring models and practices; ICT tools used for online tutoring; an outline of competences required of online tutors; specificity of interactive didactic activities; the specificity of assessment and evaluation; ways to introduce an online tutoring course; the most important information on the specifics of management and administration in online tutoring.

CREDIT CONDITIONS

In order to complete the course the participant is required to obtain min. 51%. The course grade is created on the basis of the completion of at least 1 final project task to be selected (the task weight is 50%). In addition, a final test is required (its weight is 50%).

CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING A CERTIFICATE

In order to obtain a certificate, the course participant should meet the above-mentioned conditions for passing.
