MAIN OBJECTIVES

Aim 1. To enable students of institutions of higher education all over the world to access online courses in suicide prevention and learn skills that may save someone’s life.

Aim 2. To increase the knowledge and skills of course participants to allow them to excel in coping with the challenges of working with people at risk for suicidal behaviours, and to increase the availability of employees with skills that professionally serve this population.

Aim 3. To promote internationalization, mobility, and development of European standards in the field of suicide prevention.

Aim 4. To develop an optimal study environment to enhance students’ learning skills and excel in the key suicide preventive competencies

Aim 5. To tackle knowledge and skill gaps in suicide prevention while addressing the individual learning needs and preferences of students as well as the reality of the labour market and NGO organizations.
